If I Could Kiss Protein World... I Would!

A very positive post from me today because I'm feeling that way inclined after losing even more weight while being on the Protein World Weight Loss program! Yay, I can't believe that it's actually working and I'm beginning to feel comfortable about my approaching holiday.

I was introduced to Protein World by Women's Health magazine, a title I hadn't read before I began juice fasting. It was just a simple advert which offered 10% off their Weight Loss Collection. I did a bit of investigating - I've never even dreamed of using protein powder before, I always thought it was for muscly men - and decided to take the plunge and buy it. With the discount it cost £62 and was delivered the next day.

At the time of purchasing it, I was feeling low because the juice fasting I had been doing and seeing weight loss results from was rotting my teeth so I was forced to stop.

The long and short of it is the sugars from the fresh fruit juice I was drinking was eroding away my gums and making my teeth super sensitive to everything, even the wind. So, when I discovered Protein World I was thrilled. Something about the way they engaged in their advertising and on their website made me believe their claims, perhaps it was because I was looking for anything to help me continue loosing weight and they were the first to crop up, or maybe it's because I truly believed their claims - especially at the price they were charging.

Whatever it was that made me go for it and trust a brand I hadn't heard of before, I'm very grateful! I've lost almost half a stone since starting just under two weeks ago (I purchased it before then, but have been following it properly and solidly for just under two weeks).

I have also been exercising a lot more, which obviously helps with the weight loss, but the point is that I have the energy to exercise - something I truly never had in the past.

So, the actual collection includes:

1.2 kg of the Slender Blend Protein Powder
90 Fat Melter Capsules
90 Multi Vitamins

All these can be bought individually but there is a cost saving when purchased altogether.

How it works is very simple actually, with all the components combined the collection boosts you metabolism to burn fat faster, tones and shapes your muscles after regular exercise activity, encourages weight loss as you are replacing meals with nutritious Slender Blend protein shakes.

My favourite part of the whole thing is the Fat Melter Capsules. These contain guarana extract and green tea which according the Protein World website that combination of ingredients "not only reduces the amount of fat you digest, it also ignites your metabolism".

I've also noticed it working wonders for my whole body, not just my weight loss ambitions. My hair and nails are growing faster and appearing healthier and my skin is clearer.

The only thing I don't like about it is the flavour of the Slender Blend Powder I chose. I chose the chocolate flavour, simply because I love chocolate, but it's far too sweet and almost has a chemically taste. I have found a way to drink it that I enjoy and that's simply with skimmed milk. It tastes like chocolate milkshake and the flavour is lovely when combined with the milk! Next time I'll definitely be choosing the vanilla flavour.

Also, the collection comes with a weight loss guide which is really informative and interesting and comes with some great recipes. The recipes include Protein Pancakes (I've had these, they're amazing!) and whole list of amazing protein shake variations. They also have heaps more to choose from on their website and you can filter the recipes depending on whether you want them pre or post workout, for example.

As you can see, I am clearly sold on what Protein World has to offer. I've also encouraged my best friend to give a whirl which is great!

Has anyone else tried it? Or are you now intrigued to try it? Let me know below!

Until next time...

    1. Hi Molly,

Thanks for reading and commenting. I didn't finish the chocolate protein powder mentioned in this post because I couldn't stand the flavour. However, the vanilla one I bought lasted me nearly two months because I only had one shake a day (you can have two or three a day) and some weekends I didn't have any. I think they suggest you can get 30 servings out of a 1.2kg tub.

As for the fat melters and multi-vitamins; the fat melters lasted a month and the vitamins just over 1 month.

      Hope that helps!

Did you experience this at all?

    1. Hi John,

Personally I didn't bloat when using the fat melters. They did make me feel sick and light headed over time though, so I had stop taking them!

Sorry I can't offer any of the same experience!

      Thanks for reading and commenting!

  7. Did you just mix your protein powder with water twice a day or did you make smoothies with fruit? :)

    1. Hello!

      Thanks for commenting...

I mainly mixed mine with skimmed milk as I didn't always have time to make smoothies.

I found mixing it with skimmed milk gave it a bit more texture and flavour - but using almond milk instead was even better.

      Hope that helps!

  9. Hi, do you take the protein shakes before or after you exercise? I've read articles suggesting different things so not sure what to do for the best

    1. Hiya,

      Thanks for reading and commenting!

I've always read to take them after exercise to help sculpt muscles and deliver nutrients to the body after exercise - but I am not a professional so I don't know for sure if this is the wrong or right answer! Sorry! I mainly had mine for breakfast, so I technically took them before exercise!

That probably hasn't helped at all! Sorry!

  11. Action Fuel Pro Review has been nearing all the time of late thus obviously, being the test sort, I chose to really give it a shot. One thing I saw is that they assert that with Action Fuel Pro Review will give you comes about notwithstanding the amount you workout. Something I am not enthusiastic about accepting but rather in the event that its actual it could truly be the supplement for me. All things considered, we should examine how it lives up to expectations and how it can offer you those amazing results.

  12. I'm currently on Protein World. As my health has been a big issue in my life being active has been quite a challenge, I've been skipping meals and getting quite low. I signed up to their 3 month subscription as I needed something to give me energy and to keep my metabolism high. I saved a lot of money and currently experiencing my first week with it. I feel I have a bit more energy and I just hope my body really embraces the shakes and gives me strength and energy to be able to do a gym session. Fingers crossed. At the end of February I'm going to do a post all about what it's done for me. Hopefully that'll help people too. Really appreciated this post.
